"I love teaching because I love interacting with my students and watching them grow into lifelong learners, particularly when it is an area where they tend to struggle.  As a high school student, I was not interested in anything related to math & science, but I had two amazing teachers who made all the difference in my life.  They made the material relevant & engaging while also caring about me as an individual.  I model my own teaching after these two educators.  After fourteen years of teaching in public schools, I was excited to pair my experience and love of teaching with an environment geared toward lifelong learners and helping them to excel.  William & Reed is the perfect fit for me because I believe in Hunter's vision, our amazing team, and most importantly our learning model.

I'm married to Dave and together we have two boys- Drew and Grady. We spend a ton of time at swim meets and the ball park with the boys, and I love running and reading in my spare time."
