I am very excited to be a part of William and Reed Academy! While I thoroughly enjoyed teaching math for 16 years in the public school system, I see many faults within the schools. The main fault is the ever-increasing class sizes. Here at William and Reed, the class sizes are limited to 16 students per class, but most classes are much smaller. I am able to foster genuine relationships with my students, and I believe that really matters in education. I enjoy doing many topic-related and fun activities in my classes to break up the everyday learning experience. I am looking forward to working closely with your children to show them that although math is challenging, it can be fun too!

I am originally from the Philadelphia area, and moved to Georgia in 2004. I have been married to my husband for 12 years, and we have three amazing young daughters. In my free time I enjoy hanging out with my family, watching movies, reading, crafting, travelling, watching football, and catching up on sleep when I can.

I am really excited to be a part of the William and Reed team along with the other amazing teachers and administration. I am looking forward to the upcoming school year and many years to come.
